Silicon Realms Releases SoftwarePassport/Armadillo v7.40
Silicon Realms Releases SoftwarePassport/Armadillo v7.40http://www.siliconrealms.com/news.html
* Additional protections are enabled by default for programs that you protect with custom builds of this release.
* All builds of this release (public and custom) provide new protections that increase the security of signed keys.
Version 7.40, 27July2010
Bug fixes:
· We fixed an issue that caused the SoftwarePassport GUI to indicate protection success early, while Armadillo was still working in the background. This was only a problem post-v7.20 and when a custom build of Armadillo was used.
· We fixed some minor GUI issues, including a bug that prevented the proper handling (for both creating and checking) of keys that used a copies-in-key value for network licensing.
Note: We would also like to point out that an update is available for the SoftwarePassport Language Strings. If you purchased the SoftwarePassport Language Strings or the SoftwarePassport Premium Bundle (which includes the strings) at any time before July 8, 2010, please contact us at support@siliconrealms.com to request the updated strings. Language strings purchased before that date would use double percents (%%) instead of single percents (%) for French, German and Spanish languages, which could cause variable values to not be properly populated in translated strings. This was an issue only when editing the Armadillo.LNG file in the SoftwarePassport interface. (If you purchased the language strings on or after July 8, 2010, you already have the latest version.)
Version 7.40 Beta-1, 30June2010
Bug fixes:
· SoftwarePassport now properly writes environment variables to ARM files, and retains the variables.
· We fixed some minor GUI issues. These improvements were mostly related to reminder screen settings and the proper saving and retention of various other ARM file settings.
