1. The engineer will be required to reverse malicious code with the goal of creating antivirus signatures and custom reports detailing the threat's actions.
2. The engineer will be required to provide technical details of the threats, write generic detection and repair code when needed.
3. The engineer will also be required to create tools and systems to aid in reverse engineering malicious threats. In addition, the engineer is expected to remain apprised of current security trends and topics.
4. This position may require weekend shift availability.
Qualifications
1. Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
2. Solid x86 assembly and C/C++ programming skills.
3. Experience in reverse engineering tools including dissemblers and debuggers.
4. Solid understanding of networking and Windows system internals.
5. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl or Python is a plus.
